Dapeng New Area Drone Testing Base
Shenzhen Traffic Police Drone Police Application Platform Project
The planned land area of the base is 11,000 square meters, and the total floor area is 5,000 square meters. It is planned to introduce the National Fire Equipment Quality Inspection and Testing Sub-center, aiming to build the first professional testing base in China that focuses on the test flights, inspections, testing, and airworthiness certification of medium-sized fire-fighting drones, maritime drones, etc.
This project supports four major application scenarios of Shenzhen Traffic Police, namely safety prevention and control, traffic smoothness assurance, police duty efficiency, and law enforcement supervision and inspection. At the same time, it actively explores the application empowerment in all scenarios such as "people, vehicles, roads, incidents, and enterprises". Aiming to build a "national team of drones", it comprehensively promotes the transformation and upgrading of Shenzhen's traffic management towards a three-dimensional and intelligent model.
