On 17 March 2026, the Singapore Branch of SUTPC International, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SUTPC), officially commenced operations. This marks a critical breakthrough in the company’s global expansion and a solid step forward in its internationalisation strategy. With Singapore as a strategic hub, SUTPC is accelerating its journey towards becoming the “world’s leading provider of next-generation integrated urban transport solutions and smart products”.
Location of the Singapore Branch
SUTPC has a long history of collaboration with Singapore. Following the 2018 ITS World Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark, the partnership entered a new phase. SUTPC has continuously engaged in high-level exchanges with multiple Singaporean government agencies, including the Ministry of Transport, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and the Ministry of Communications and Information. In August 2025, SUTPC’s independently developed next‑generation intelligent transportation system, the TransPaaS platform, went live for trial operation at the LTA Road Innovation Lab. With its standardised architecture and high adaptability, the platform provides an efficient tool for integrating transport data resources and enabling cross‑departmental collaborative governance in Singapore. It received high praise from LTA, which also organised dedicated training sessions for its Macro Planning Division. From technical exchanges to platform deployment and now the establishment of a local branch for on‑the‑ground operations, SUTPC has proven its robust technological capabilities and local service competence, passing the test of the international market and co‑creating an international smart city demonstration with its Singaporean clients.
Building on this new foundation, the Singapore Branch will focus on key areas such as autonomous driving and digital twins. By integrating urban data resources, it will develop market‑adapted, trend‑leading products and solutions for the international arena. In the next phase, SUTPC will expand its collaboration with Singapore in data governance, large models, autonomous driving, and other fields, injecting new momentum into the digital and intelligent transformation of urban transportation.
Looking ahead, SUTPC will use the Singapore Branch as a springboard to progressively expand into Southeast Asian countries including Malaysia and Indonesia, precisely addressing regional transport development needs while continuously advancing localised technological innovation and service delivery. This will help build a smart transport service network covering Southeast Asia. Seizing the strategic opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative for transport infrastructure upgrades and digital economic growth in the region, SUTPC is committed to contributing Chinese expertise and solutions to the sustainable development of global urban transportation.
